Seán Brady songs recorded by other acts
I’m always delighted and flattered whenever another act records a cover version of one of my songs.
It’s a great compliment and incentivises me to keep writing.
Songwriting is one thing, getting people to listen to your songs is another AND getting them covered is another!

Featuring: 'De Valera'
I've alway's been a big fan of the Furey's and the day I first heard this version is a cherished memory. It was completely unexpected, I never pitched this song to any other act and I wrote it back in 1986 when it was featured in my 2nd album, 'Jackeen's & Culchie's'. The song is entitled 'A Man of Our Times' on this album.

Featuring: 'You're Never Too Old to Love' - Version 2
This version was produced by Liam Hurley and I rewrote this version especially for Susan. Liam and Susan did a great job on it and has enjoyed more international radio plays than any other song of mine by a long chalk. It has been playlisted on BBC radio 2 on many occasions and the single release charted in Ireland.

Featuring: 'You're Never Too Old to Love' - Version 1
My biggest single record sales royalty payout was from this album which sat high in the UK album charts for several months. It included a cover track of my first version of this song. I love Tony Allen's vocals and he did a lovely job on this one. The album went on to chart globally.

Featuring: 'You're Never Too Old to Love' - Version 1
Another album from Mick and Tony featuring my song.

Featuring: 'You're Never Too Old to Love' - Version 2
The very latest release (2019/20) by Tony and Mick that also features my song.

Featuring: 'You're Never Too Old to Love' - Version 1
This was another collection of Foster and Allens songs that was released and marketed internationally by Readers Digest.

Featuring: 'De Valera'
Charlie and the Bhoys are a highly popular Scottish based act who certainly know how to get the audience rocking with their fine renditions of Irish rebel songs. As a songwriter I'm always flattered when any act either performs one of my songs or goes to the trouble to record one.

Featuring: 'De Valera'
Another Scottish based band of similar pedigree with a nicely put together version of my song. I shared a gig with them many years ago at the Swan in Stockwell, South London.

Featuring: 'Mother England's Giro, 'The Quare one' and 'Maggie & the Farmer'
Not an act I'm familiar with, but he's recorded several tidy and well produced covers of my songs that were featured on my 'Thatcher Song' album.

Featuring: 'De Valera'
Another cover recording of my song from an act that I know little of, with a version that's more than decent. Well done and thanks to Tony!

Featuring: 'The Thatcher Song' and 'The Taoiseach's Hooley'
My two biggest selling singles were also covered by this act who got both into the Irish charts back in the 1980's.
